A training program was conducted at VASCO ESP Production premises for the NOC/WAHA Oil Company technical attendees. The training program focused on technical topics related to Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) systems. The topics covered during the training program included:
i. General overview and in-depth explanation of Centrifugal Pumps, including their design and various types. ii. Comprehensive understanding and explanation of application fields where Centrifugal Pumps are commonly used. iii. Detailed insights into Centrifugal Pump material technology, covering the materials used in their construction and their properties. iv. Specific description of VASCO Submersible Deep Well Pumps program, including its features and capabilities.
Methodology for calculating Centrifugal Pumps head, which includes pump head calculation as well as accounting for pressure losses in pipes, valves, and other fittings. vi. In-depth understanding and description of correct power supply for pumps to ensure smooth and reliable operation, including Controlling Units for 3-phase Direct Online electrical connections and 3-phase Star-Delta connections. vii. Overview of other accessories and deliverables that accompany Centrifugal Pumps for efficient and effective operation.
The training program was conducted in a professional manner, providing comprehensive and detailed insights into the technical aspects of ESP systems. It aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants in understanding the design, application, materials, head calculation, power supply, and other important aspects of Centrifugal Pumps.
Vastek Engineering (VASCO Group) recently hosted a one-week training program focused on Low and Weak Current Systems for Airport Applications. The event took place at the Holiday Inn Hotel Conference Meeting room in Istanbul and was attended by engineers and technical professionals from the Libyan Airport Authorities (LAA).
During the training program, participants were provided with in-depth technical insights into various airport systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and other low current and data systems. The training program was designed to equip attendees with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage these systems and ensure their optimal performance.
Upon completion of the program, all attendees were awarded participation certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the training program.
